Get to Know Me
I’m Emma Mohs, a designer inspired to build better experiences for people and other living beings on our shared planet. My professional journey—from honey-bee researcher to behavioral therapist to UX designer—has taught me that effective problem solving starts with a deep understanding of the systems at play.
My work blends the methodologies of Human Centered Design, Systems Thinking, Data Science, and Sustainable Development to create tech that feels simple and human. I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Customer Experience and Innovation, developing expertise in business strategy, leadership, storytelling, and facilitation.
I'm committed to using design as a tool for social impact: helping organizations turn opportunities into solutions that bridge gaps, amplify underrepresented voices, and foster community connection.
Outside of screen time, you'll find me rollerblading, drawing, and spending time in the wilderness.
Welcome to my design garden, where I have made artworks in various mediums for my friends, family, and community.
To increase involvement in local composting efforts, i published and distributed this educational zine.

Cards for the Homies
my illustration is done mostly by my right hand, and is inspired by the flora, fauna, and interesting stories out in the real world.
